Support

Everything here is handled over email by the people who build the apps. There is no ticket system, no account to log into and no phone queue.

No BiDaFa app has been released yet. The instructions below apply to our apps from the day the first one is available to download.

What our apps are

BiDaFa Ltd builds practice and revision apps for occupational licensing and certification exams: the tests people sit before they are allowed to work in a regulated job.

Each app covers one exam in one jurisdiction. Questions are written from the published rules, regulations and official training manuals that the exam itself is set from, and every answer carries an explanation rather than a bare score at the end. The apps are designed to work offline and to be a single purchase rather than a subscription.

Restoring a purchase on a new device

A purchase belongs to the store account that bought it, not to the device, so you can restore it on another device without paying twice. There is no BiDaFa account and no password to recover.

  1. Sign in on the new device with the same Apple Account you used to buy the app. A different account cannot see the purchase.
  2. Install the app from the App Store.
  3. Open the app and choose Restore purchases in its settings. The app asks the store what that account owns and unlocks accordingly.
  4. If nothing restores, check first that you are signed in with the account that bought it, then email us and include your store receipt.

The store's own purchase record is what settles this. We cannot see your store account, so the receipt is what lets us help.

Reporting a question you believe is wrong

A factual error in a question is the most serious thing that can go wrong in an app like ours, so a report about one takes priority over everything else we are doing.

  1. Email the address below and put Wrong question in the subject line.
  2. Tell us which app it is, and give the question id shown with the question. That id is what lets us find the exact item in the bank.
  3. Tell us what you believe is wrong, and the rule or source you think it conflicts with if you know it.

We check the report against the source document the question was written from. If it is wrong we correct it at the source, the correction goes out in the next update, and we write back to tell you what changed.

Anything else

A crash, a purchase that will not go through, a question about what an app covers, or a request to delete something you have emailed us: all of it goes to the same address.

We read and answer every email ourselves. We do not publish a target reply time, because we would rather state nothing than state a deadline we cannot always keep.

What we cannot do

  • We cannot tell you whether you will pass, book your exam for you, or contact a regulator or awarding body on your behalf.
  • We are not approved by, endorsed by or affiliated with any regulator or awarding body.
  • We cannot refund a store purchase ourselves. Refunds are handled by the app store you bought from, under that store's own policy.
